HOW DO WE COUNT ITEM DELETIONS AND REMOVALS.
The number of accounts removed/deleted represents the combined removals for all three credit bureaus, on a per bureau basis. Example: A single (1) negative account is removed/deleted from all three credit reports, it is counted as three separate removals. A deleted/removed late payment paired within multiple payments would count as one per late reported, per bureau reporting.
CAN NEGATIVE ITEMS BE LEGALLY REMOVED?
The answer is 100% YES – The simple reason is that consumers have the legal right to request / investigate / challenge / verify (whatever word you want to use) an account reporting on their credit report. You have this right if any account/item is, in your best knowledge to be, in full, or in part: inaccurate, unverifiable, untimely, unclear or incomplete. In other words, if it is not 100% free of error or fully correct.
WHAT IS ACCURATE?
For CreditServices.com, the word ‘accurate’ means 100% free from any current or past reporting errors. These errors are to be in no way: unclear, untimely, unverifiable or incomplete… In short, ACCURATE IS FAIR. Please note that the current reporting status of any given account/item on your credit report does not always tell the complete “fair” (accurate) story. Take a moment and look into the court rulings that have confirmed that even though some credit listings may be technically accurate, they are not truly accurate based on the particular, current circumstance.
WHAT IS VERIFIABLE?
The word ‘verifiable’ is defined and means to CreditServices.com that credit information can be verified with the source. If a creditor is unwilling, unable, or unavailable to verify that a credit item is accurate and timely, it must be removed
WHO DECIDES IF YOUR CREDIT ITEM(S) CURRENTLY REPORTING ARE QUESTIONABLE?
The answer is simple, it is you, the consumer. With CreditServices.com, the consumer alone can, and in the end, ultimately you decide whether a reporting credit account/item should be questioned or verified or not. Only you know whether an item is not only accurate, but fair.
CreditServices.com™ does not advise that any consumer, client or not, abuse their consumer right to “fair” (accurate) credit by investigating the validity of an item in bad faith. This simple understanding that accurate and correct is determined by the account or listing is known to be 100% accurate and timely…. “FAIR”
CAN ANYTHING BE DONE TO REMOVE ACCURATE NEGATIVE ITEMS?
If the consumer knows a currently reporting, negative credit account/item is 100% accurate, CreditServices.com will not service the you do not have the legal grounds to question this item with the credit bureaus.
DO WE GUARANTEE OUR WORK?
CreditServices.com guarantees to give direction and guidance as to how our clients have performed in the past and direct areas of general improvement specific to the FICO™ Scoring algorithm and scoring system in relation to the current items reporting. As the systems and reporting services evolve, so too will our credit advisement and overall general guidance.
This is a loaded question, CreditServices.com™ cannot truthfully guarantee specific results, anymore than an attorney guaranteeing a particular legal outcome. It is also important to note we cannot promise a particular credit result within a certain time frame since every client file and credit report is different.
There are no guarantees involved with our services offered or Service Levels. It is important to understand that a Credit Service Organization cannot guarantee results within a certain time frame or score improvement. WHAT IS THE BUREAU DISCOVERY PROCESS?
A full and complete investigation of each item chosen to verify 100% complete accuracy and to validate the item is reporting 100% free of error.
HOW LONG DOES THE REPAIR PROCESS TAKE?
A question our team has often, the overall progress of your service file is largely dependent on your proactive participation which is detailed within the Credit Guide™ consumer handbook. Taking an active, approach to the steps given will, in most cases maximize the repair and building efforts set forth.
As to the batch and letters being serviced, when credit reports and credit bureau result letters are sent into our Solutions Department for processing, in most client cases, will have actions taken within their credit report history in response to the letters sent within the first 45 days and roughly 45-50 days on a continued basis until cancelled.
CreditServices.com™ has a very proud track record, our clients have seen impressive credit report results, with an average of 14.2 items, or 40% of their representing negatives, removed within a 4 rounds/ batches of investigation letters serviced. These numbers delivered are 25% higher than one of the leaders in the industry.
Last but not least, It is extremely important to note to be wary of any credit repair company that guarantees to clean up your credit in 30 days or guarantee score improvement in a certain time-frame. Not only are these sales tactics illegal to guarantee results for credit repair, it is impossible to predict the actions of your creditors or the credit as a whole.
CAN DELETED ITEMS REAPPEAR ON MY CREDIT REPORT?
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) fully requires that the credit bureau inform you before they re-report a previously deleted listing. There has been times, on very rare occasions, a negatively reported account that was recently deleted may eventually be verified by the creditor. The FCRA makes it difficult for credit bureaus to re-report listings. Due to the difficulty placed by the FCRA, it is rare for an account to come back and return to your report once it has been deleted.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT HAPPENS TO YOU?
During the course of enrollment with CreditServices.com, if a credit report account is verified at a later point in time, CreditServices.com will help challenge the account again if there are legitimate grounds to do so.
